The Air 8 safe is very durable and safe due to its use of 12 gauge material which goes above industry standards. It comes with a 2 inch thick door that has steel thresholds, bullet hinges, and grease fittings. The jamb also has tabs with pre-drilled holes to make installation easier. Our product has energy-efficient features and includes a tempered glass that is 5/8" thick. The glass is constructed with two panes and dual sealing to minimize air and heat leakage. The frames feature Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping that helps to regulate temperature. Additionally, our product comes with a door sweep to prevent sound, light, drafts, insects, moisture, smoke, or fire from infiltrating through gaps at the bottom of the door.
